Guidelines (or How We Do What We Do)

OSC/INESC BOOK CLUB

We meet monthly - typically the last Monday of the month.

We meet @ 1pm following Bowling Club at a members' home on base.

We try to select books that are in paperback or readily available at the base, city, or county libraries. Remember: books can be found via InterLibrary Loan (ILL) at any of the libraries if they are showing checked out/high demand.

We start Book Club with general information about the author/how the book came to be and head into questions, discussions, and general good chit-chat!

Some months we do light snacks and during the summer months we chose to do a Pass-and-Share lunch.

We will be slating the balance of our books (Dec 2011 - May 2012) on or around the October meeting. We are striving to read a variety of genres this year!

In April/May we'll discuss continuing the group through the summer months.
